In less than a year, Transit-Inc have caught the attention of critics and music fans alike, confounding some and converting many more to their truly unique sound that is distinct and familiar at once.
Transit-Inc's dynamic songs have been gaining attention from music aficionados since their formation, as evidenced by their vibrant, captivating Sown being voted as one of the Top Ten Songs in the Rock category of the 2007 Music Oz Awards. Sown was also featured as the February 2008 HotPick on Hotsource.
They placed among the Top 30 acts of this year's New Artists 2 Radio competition. Their music has been included on the 12th volume of the popular Grow Your Own compilation series and the song Start Up has been featured in numerous videos for the High Five series of Extreme Sports, distributed worldwide by IMG Media, and in videos for Russell Brothers Films.
The band was featured on the international website Indie Solo as Band of the Day as well as having been a feature band several times on Scout TV.
