Henry Fraser and the Echo have a unique and intriguing sound. The band has been developing their beautiful blend of soul/pop/rock music in the city of Sydney in Australia. The band is currently preparing for the recording and production of their debut EP, with Liquid Music and we are most excited and proud to have them on board! We will keep you posted as to the development of what promises to be a stunning debut EP. The Echo came together in 2008. Since starting out, the band has built on its broad collective musical experience, making the most of varied backgrounds in rock, jazz, funk, folk and classical music. The Echo has developed its sound as the band has grown, with a versatility that spans and fuses sweaty rock, mellow folk, full-blooded soul, and intricate and delicate classical influences. The band plays regular gigs to good crowds throughout Sydney's inner west and eastern suburbs. They relish the live gigs because new things come out every time. So, while their earlier material had been more mellow and folky, they have played more upbeat sets set in our recent gigs, bringing in more soul and rock influences. The band feels like it has reached a new level of intensity and excitement in live performances, and loves to share that feeling with their audience and fans. They have been happy to see that their trademark three-part harmonies are very effective across generic boundaries. With more than twenty original songs, The Echo always enjoy the chance to delve into different feelings and tones, with sounds that appeal to different people. They are very excited to begin a new project this year, working on an EP with Liquid Music.
